Her parents Carl and Patsy Mancini founded the store in 1969. Their first store is still today at 968 E El Camino Real in Sunnyvale Ca. The original company name was Kids Furniture because they were a full range of furniture stores in the first 10 years or so. In the early 1980s, her father decided to provide mainly affordable designer mattresses. Carl Mancini is very proud to run his business. Kids Furniture want to ensure that every customer is treated with respect and receives the best customer service possible. At the age of 55, Carr died of cancer, and at the age of 25, she started running a company for her mother, Pazi. Since 1989, they have added several more stores to better serve Northern California. They operated four stores for several years, and then decided to expand throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
