She is a certified practitioner at the institute of functional medicine and has studied nutrition, integrative, preventive and functional medicine for the past decade. Nourisher is married to dermatologist Daniel Carrasco, and has three happy and beautiful children, Camila, Lucho and Bruno. Outside of medicine, Dr. Alex enjoys gardening and reading.
