Skin City was once located at 323 divisadero and was founded in July 1995 by the current owner, brigitta melendy. After 23 years at Divis, Brigitta relocated her clinic and reopened on the sunny side of Oakland Bay, 3737 MacArthur Avenue in the upcoming Laurel district. The new hotel opened in October 2018 and continues to provide services that support overall health. New services include therapeutic massages, cupping and “clean” juices from local suppliers. Through continuous service-oriented efforts, Sharon maintains a customer base of hundreds of frequent customers, some of whom have been customers since opening in 1995. Skin City is not only known for its skincare salons, but also a community supporter of various community activities. This is a way to give back to the community and let the salon flourish
