SubRosa is a substantial trial fate band from Salt Lake City, Utah. Inside their pot, underground, smashing volume suffuses with the unpleasant mood of two electric violins. Components of dull people exchange with verses spreading over sociopolitical issues and Americana stories. The subsequent soundscape is dull, grim and enthusiastic. Rebecca Vernon's vision for SubRosa prepared for certain years before songwriting started in the late spring of 2005 with related soul Sarah Pendleton on violin. The Worm Has Turned was written in Rebecca's spooky storm cellar condo and self-discharged in June of 2006. Strega was discharged in March of 2008 on Swedish fate/whip name Hate Records, in the wake of remixing by Marduk bassist Magnus "Devotional" Andersson. The EP Swans Trapped in Ice was self-discharged in 2009.
